Power level can be temporarily set to its other value, i.e. Memories store receive and transmit frequencies, along with receive and transmit CTCSS or DCS codes, power level, and channel width (wide or narrow). Remember that once a memory is programmed, it cannot be changed, short of deleting it and starting over.
